  • A new homeowner sitting in front of her new house.
  • I just bought a house in between two people who rent, it's a fixer upper so i need to redo the gravel driveway, I plan on doing it in a month or so.
  • About 6 months ago my neighbor moved a man into her house, he has this giant Tahoe that he drives up over my lawn/driveway to park in his lawn.
  • Neighbor driving a black SUV, turning into a new homeowner's lawn to park his car.
  • Not even their driveway, someone called the city on him for that now he parks on the street. He's blocked me in twice already, and I didn't call the PD just asked him to move. Well today, his
  • fiancé decided to take her charger over my lawn instead of having him move his Tahoe. I submitted a complaint with the police department
  • and I am having T posts cemented in as well so they can't use my lawn and driveway. Am I overrracting? I feel like
  • this is property damage and I can't redo my driveway until they stop, they'll spread the rock all over. I have a video too but it won't let me post it :(
  • A neighborhood showing cars parked in their corresponding driveways.
  • BeachinLife1 Of course you are not overreacting. I'd have had his Tahoe TOWED if he blocked me in. And don't just put in posts, put in a giant a fence.
  • goodnsimple NOR Please also let the landlord know. I would be horrified if my tenants treated neighbors like that! I'd give them one warning and we would start eviction. Ugh.
  • Silent Echo537 OP I did finally find the landlords Facebook and she is working with me on the situation thankfully! Luckily I had proof as well that i sent her, privacy fence is also going up this week so hopefully this nips it in the bud
  • Loose-Zebra435 I wonder if you could plant trees or something. Something that enhances your property but still prevents them driving across. I know people could knock over some saplings, but idk if they would, and if they did, that's actual reportable property damage
  • Silent_Echo537 OP This is a great idea! I think the only thing preventing this is unfortunately the water main for my house runs under the driveway onto their property, I'd be a little scared to damage that
  • Calgary_Calico Install a fence around your property. Get a survey done so you know exactly where the properly like is and put up a sturdy fence so they can't come into your property at all
  • Silent_Echo537 OP Luckily I am getting a privacy fence installed this week! I just couldn't afford to have it go all the way down to the driveway, it's already costing me $8400
  • Own_Ad9686 You are doing the right thing by addressing this immediately. They thought they could bu y you.
  • Silent_Echo537 OP I guarantee they thought they could. I'm a 24 year old living alone as well, and she knows that
  • N-Y-R-D Tahoe, Charger. I'm forming a mental image.
  • Silent Echo537 OP It's exactly what's going through your head
